1961 Farmall Cub with the coveted factory "one arm" loader. This loader is a rare accessory and the only loader manufactured by International Harvester for the Cub tractor. All other loaders were aftermarket. The current owner of this machine tells us the following:

This tractor was acquired in the early 90's from a family friend who used the tractor/loader mainly for cleaning out his horse barns. The engine was rebuilt by my father, and he also converted the electrical system from generator to alternator. The hydraulic pump was replaced, redirecting it directly to the loader. He also replaced the tires. Since being overhauled, the tractor has been used mainly for light yard projects. It was relocated from western MA to southern RI in 2004, where it has been used since. First gear is a bit worn, but otherwise she starts right up every time and runs fine.

So there you have it.......a good running tractor with a super rare loader and sporting new rubber. This is a great collectible as well as extremely useful.
